3 night miniseries event, Tricia Helfer. Basic premise is that in the 50s/60s the US built a generation ship to send people to Proxima Centauri. Fifty one years later, we see what's become of them.

( spoilers, but I did not like it )

I want to like it. I like all the actors. The writing is pedestrian. The clusterfuck of how they treat race and gender and synthetics is just beyond horrific.

I can't watch it anymore.

SyFy has a new show called Helix. It's set down in Antarctica in a private company's research base. They're working with diseases and viruses and stuff and something happens and they have to call in the CDC to come help contain the mess and save those not yet infected.

All that sounded pretty neat to me so I wanted to watch it.
